Message When the "knowledgeable enthusiasts" impart some of their wisdom I see that as a good thing. They will weigh the information provided and decide what's best for their particular situation. If the individual chooses another path, than that's their decision and the "enthusiasts" should respect that individuals decision even though they may not like it. If in fact that info provided was indeed the only correct path to follow than that individual will realize that fact in due course. If that happens, that person may come to a realization at that point and become part of the "converted" (since we seem to be taking a biblical perspective) and be a staunch advocate much like the original "enthusiasts". If however, those prophecies do not seem to pan out as ordained by the "enthusiasts" than it's less likely that that person will hold much stock in the decees of the "enthusiasts". They will probably keep a watchfull eye out to possibly see if there is that potential realization, but until then, they may remain a bit on the sceptical side.
So there's a number of ways on how it can all come about.
Listen implicitly and do as the "enthusiasts" say and never really knowing that perhaps another path may have been viable.
Or, make their own decision and possibly learn the lesson the hard way or find out that their own path was just as good, just as safe and just as viable as the "enthusiasts" direction.
But if we never excercise that freedom of choice, what kind of a world would we be living in?
Is that the the path of choice you choose - one of no choice?
